Yes of course. If you have some problem using the software we will be happy to help.
To run the program on Windows 7 you need Service Pack 1 (KB976932) and also Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2017 (included when install the Ultimate CNC Installer).
Visual C++ 2017 64-Bit Redistributable
Normally, it is happends because Ultimate CNC need OpenGL to run.
Please, check your drivers of graphic card.
All Linux version are distributed using AppImage.
AppImages can be downloaded and run without installation or the need for root rights.
- You can make the appImage executable as follows:
chmod a+x exampleName.AppImage
- Later, you can execute an appImage:
./Ultimate_CNC-free.AppImage
When it happens means that there are a problem with USB access permissions.
Try to configure usb permissions on Linux or execute Ultimate CNC as root or use "sudo youruser".
- sudo ./Ultimate_CNC-full.AppImage
Ultimate CNC don't support architectures ARM.
Maybe in the future will be supported.
Sorry, it isn't open source. The reason is because we want maintenance the software for long time and it is possible only if own work is renumbered. If you can't pay it don't worry, there are a free version.
